About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you’ll be part of a dynamic team providing care and support across various settings, including residential homes, supported living environments, outreach programmes, and day services. With a new autism hub opening soon, there are exciting opportunities to apply your skills in different areas.
Salary and Benefits:
- Band 3 Support Worker: £19,901 - £23,367 per annum.
- Band 4 Support Worker: £22,819 - £27,181 per annum.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting individuals to live fulfilling lives within their community.
- Providing personal care and promoting independent living skills.
- Offering emotional support through an active support model.
- Collaborating closely with service users, their families, and other professionals.
What They’re Looking For:
No formal qualifications are required to start in this role, making it an excellent opportunity for those new to the field. However, you will be expected to pursue an NVQ Level 3 or BTEC in Positive Behavioural Support after successfully completing your probation period. Full support will be provided during your studies.
Previous experience as a Support Worker is essential.
