The salary for this permanent Ward Manager job is £49,220 per annum.

Main Duties:
- Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and expertise to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Service and Workforce Guidance: Lead and guide the team to foster a cohesive service and an engaged workforce.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of care are maintained, followed, and continuously improved within the Clinical Governance framework.
- Nursing Staff Supervision: Effectively utilise and supervise all nursing staff to optimise performance.
- Expert Resource: Serve as the go-to expert on nursing care within your specialism, playing a pivotal role in the multidisciplinary team.
- Team Development: Promote a positive and collaborative environment, enabling ward members to reach their full potential and deliver high-quality care, while prioritising staff welfare and training.
- Ward Management: Take charge of the ward as designated, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements of the Ward Manager:
- Nursing Qualification: Must hold a relevant nursing qualification.
- NMC Registration: Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Commitment to Excellence: Dedicated to delivering high-quality care, aligned with values and evidence-based practices.
- Relevant Experience: Experience in a similar healthcare environment is essential.
- Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record of success.
