Main Duties:
- You will play a crucial role in planning and delivering exceptional patient care, acting as the patient’s advocate and ensuring their dignity is always maintained. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that care areas are safe, fit for purpose, and effectively managed.
- Providing high standards of evidence-based care is essential, along with maintaining the safe custody of all medications and controlled drugs. You will assist with post-operative patient care, ensuring accurate data recording in Compucare, Endobase, and other written notes. Additionally, you will contribute to budget management, ward audits, and the compilation of supporting documentation.
Requirements of the Staff Nurse:
- First-level Registered Nurse
- Significant post-registration experience
- ILS training or a willingness to undertake training
- Basic phlebotomy skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and web-based reporting systems
- Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- Exemplary patient-centered approach
- Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and ethics in the workplace
