Salary: £43,014 - £46,314 per annum + £7,000 welcome bonus

Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a Deputy Ward Manager (Nurse) to join our client's dynamic team. 

Ticehurst offers an idyllic setting in East Sussex, just 20 minutes from the historic Royal Tunbridge Wells, which boasts boutique hotels, restaurants, and a shopping mall. Nestled in beautiful grounds spanning 50 acres, our client provides both acute and private facilities for male and female patients in well-maintained wards.

This charming location offers the perfect balance between a serene rural environment and easy access to the coast (20 minutes south) and Central London (about an hour away by direct train). Their site hosts enjoyable summer events such as cream teas and barbecues, and on-site accommodation is available for employees if needed.

Job Profile

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Abilities

  • Excellent clinical knowledge based on evidence-based practice.
  • Experience in Care Plans, Risk Assessments, and writing reports.
  • Knowledge of Mental Health Act Legislation and statutory regulations.
  • Experience in staffing, skill mix, and leading shifts.
  • Commitment to supporting junior staff and students.
