About the Role:
As a Senior Staff Nurse at the Samares Ward Rehabilitation Unit, you'll play a critical role in helping patients recover from strokes, injuries, and other conditions. You’ll lead patient care planning, implementation, and evaluation for a diverse group of individuals, supporting them on their journey to recovery and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive evidence-based nursing by applying cutting-edge research in patient care.
- Help set and uphold high clinical standards, engage in audits, and lead by example.
- Conduct clinical investigations and deliver treatments, ensuring the highest care standards.
- Serve as an independent supplementary prescriber in specific areas, as applicable.
- Promote a culture of infection prevention, challenge poor practices, and offer thorough health advice to patients and families.
- Champion safeguarding by ensuring the welfare of all patients and adhering to policies and procedures.
- Keep meticulous, up-to-date patient documentation and develop informative patient materials to support recovery.
