The salary for this permanent Senior Staff Nurse job is £37,992 - £40,455 per annum.

- You will be joining an inpatient acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU), for males and females struggling with a wide range of mental health conditions.

Main Duties:

- Care Plan Management: Monitor and review nursing care plans to ensure they meet patient needs effectively.
- Patient Condition Evaluation: Assess and respond to changes in patients’ conditions and needs, adjusting care as required.
- High-Quality Care Delivery: Provide exceptional care to individuals with mental illness and personality disorders.
- Therapeutic Relationship Building: Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement and outcomes.
- Care Planning and Monitoring: Participate in patient assessments, collaborate on developing personalised care plans, and track patient progress.
- Leadership and Mentorship: In senior roles, lead shifts, mentor student nurses, and support other team members to foster a collaborative and effective care environment.
- Adherence to Standards: Follow all relevant codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, ensuring respect for others’ rights and promoting ethical practices.
Requirements of the Senior Staff Nurse:
