Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Surgeon seeking a fulfilling career opportunity? Sanctuary Personnel is excited to present a fantastic permanent Registered Veterinary Surgeon position with one of the UK's largest veterinary retailers based in Basildon. The role is offering a salary of £72,000 per annum (Dependant on experience/full time equivalent). Summary: We are a large and dynamic team of 14 vets, including surgical and medical certificate holders, with others currently pursuing certificates in cardiology and medicine. Our nursing team is one of our greatest strengths, featuring highly skilled professionals with Schedule 3 training, imaging expertise, and postgraduate certificates. Additionally, our team includes a Hydrotherapist, a Physiotherapist, and 12 Client Care Advisers. Our purpose-built, state-of-the-art facilities boast a CT scanner and, more recently, expanded services to include MRI, Hydrotherapy, and Physiotherapy rehabilitation. We provide gold-standard inpatient care, first-opinion small animal services, and a range of specialist outpatient services. These include emergency and critical care, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, CT/MRI imaging, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and laser therapy. Benefits of this Veterinary Surgeon Job: We offer an excellent 4-day work week with 1 in 4 weekends and a 40-hour rota. Our dedicated night team means there’s no out-of-hours (OOH) work, although we do have an on-call rota, which typically involves 3-4 instances per year, ensuring a fantastic work-life balance. We provide a competitive salary package of up to £70,000 (depending on experience) alongside a supportive management structure.
