Work in Bermuda - Registered Nurse – ACW Medical/Surgical Admin Team
Shift Pattern: 35 hours per week
Salary: £75,000 per annum (tax-free)
Sanctuary Personnel is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for experienced and motivated Registered Nurses to join our client's Medical/Surgical Admin Team in Bermuda. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and immunotherapy while monitoring patients’ conditions.
- Assess patient and family needs, create individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
- Collaborate with Oncologists, Pharmacists, and healthcare professionals to gather patient history, conduct assessments, and educate on treatment and aftercare.
- Maintain clear communication with the Clinical Manager/Nurse in Charge regarding patient status and any significant changes.
- Engage in unit Quality Improvement activities and participate in research projects.
- Mentor new staff and serve as a role model for colleagues.
- Contribute to staff meetings, training, and ongoing education programs.
- Perform other nursing and delegated medical tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current registration with the Bermuda Nursing Council.
- Experience: Minimum two years’ post-graduate experience as an Oncology Nurse with chemotherapy administration.
- Certifications: BCLS required; Chemotherapy Biotherapy certification and Oncology Clinical Nurse Certification (ONC™) preferred.
- Skills: Advanced intravenous skills; experience with implanted ports essential.
