Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead anaesthetic services for inpatient and day case acute surgery, ensuring high standards of patient care
- Provide expert anaesthetic advice and support to the clinical team
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, including anaesthetic trainees and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to patient care planning
- Deliver pre-operative assessments and post-operative care for patients undergoing anaesthesia
- Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and ensure compliance with medical regulations and guidelines
- Engage in clinical governance activities, including audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Take part in continuing professional development (CPD) and education activities
Requirements:
- GMC Specialist Registration
- Recent experience as a Consultant within the UK
