Sanctuary Personnel are looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our client's brand-new, state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ITU). Purpose-built with both patients and colleagues in mind, the hospital is a 50-bed, multi-speciality, private hospital that combines deep clinical infrastructure with exceptional technology and modern facilities.

Their wide range of expertise allows them to deliver full clinical pathways at all levels of complexity across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties, including Cardiology, Cancer, and Complex Surgery.

About the Role:

As a Senior Staff Nurse on their ITU unit, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the department. They’ll look to you as an expert in your field to support and mentor the wider team, using your in-depth clinical knowledge to guide and support them while also stepping up and leading the unit in the absence of the Ward Manager. It’s a varied role; one day you could be providing bespoke, complex care to a patient, the next overseeing the operation of the six-bedded unit. No matter what each day brings, you can rest assured you’ll have all the time and tools you need to not only grow but thrive.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Registered General Nurse with NMC pin
  • Neuro, Cardiac or General ITU experience
  • Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Care, compassion, and empathy
  • Critical Care Course (30 credits)
