Senior Staff Nurse Duties Include:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients diagnosed with haematological and oncological disorders.
  • Develop personalised care plans in consultation with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Assess patient progress regularly and adapt care plans as needed.
  • Provide aid in patient consultations, explaining the benefits, risks, and costs of various treatment options.
  • Highly committed to maintaining detailed and accurate patient records.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to discuss care plans, patient progress, and other relevant information.
  • Mentor junior staff, sharing your expertise in haematology.
  • Support and comfort patients and their relatives by providing information and reassurance.
  • Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Senior Staff Nurse Requirements Include:

  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin.
  • Significant post registration experience within haematology setting.
  • Up to date knowledge and an experience on the administration of the SACT.
  • Experience managing and leading a clinical team.
