Staff Nurse Duties Include:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients diagnosed with haematological and oncological disorders.
- Develop personalised care plans in consultation with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Assess patient progress regularly and adapt care plans as needed.
- Provide aid in patient consultations, explaining the benefits, risks, and costs of various treatment options.
- Highly committed to maintaining detailed and accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to discuss care plans, patient progress, and other relevant information.
- Mentor junior staff, sharing your expertise in haematology.
- Support and comfort patients and their relatives by providing information and reassurance.
- Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Staff Nurse Requirements Include:
- Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin.
- Significant post registration experience within haematology setting.
- Up to date knowledge and an experience on the administration of the SACT.
- Experience managing and leading a clinical team.
