Join a dedicated team providing specialist care and support for individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions. The service is located in a modern, purpose-built facility with 13 en-suite bedrooms, focused on fostering independent living skills, social inclusion, education, and employment engagement. Residents benefit from close links with the local community, including access to college, work placements, and other amenities.

About the Role

Working 37.5 hours per week, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering person-centred care and rehabilitation for male patients over the age of 18 who are experiencing enduring mental health challenges.

As a skilled Manager or existing Clinical Services Manager with experience in either the NHS or private sector, you will provide high-quality clinical leadership and management. You will serve as a role model within the service, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Your leadership will encourage collaborative working, positive team building, and the setting of clear priorities, objectives, and goals for your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a highly skilled and motivated workforce through effective recruitment, selection, and performance management.
  • Manage and control staffing, budgets, materials, and equipment efficiently.
  • Foster strong working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, processes, and initiatives.
  • Ensure clinical services comply with statutory regulations and current legislation, meet quality standards, and deliver against key performance indicators.
  • Oversee the implementation of clinical interventions and treatments, ensuring they enhance the quality of services, with continuous evaluation through clinical governance and audit.

  • A relevant professional qualification and a recognised post-registration qualification, with full membership of the NMC.
  • At least 2 years of managerial experience within a care setting.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • A proactive attitude towards change and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This role is ideal for someone seeking a mainly Monday - Friday position, though occasional weekend or night shifts may be required to supervise night staff. Participation in the on-call rota is also expected.
