Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our client's team at their hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC and uniquely dedicated to women and children. Role Overview:

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Orthopaedics, you will utilise your expertise to deliver holistic and evidence-based care throughout the Orthopaedic pathway. You will work both autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the best possible patient journey. Your role will include advocating for patients, providing specialist nursing advice, and emotional support, while also driving service development and staff education. Exceptional communication skills are essential, and in return, you will be part of a team at the forefront of clinical innovation.

Shift Pattern: 

  • Full time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday

Requirements:

  • Children’s Nursing Qualification: RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration
  • Experience: 5 years post-registration in Children’s nursing
  • Education: First degree in nursing or a health-related subject
  • Specialist Qualification: Relevant qualification with at least 12 months of experience
  • Mentorship: Mentorship qualification
  • Life Support: Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support
  • Research & Audit: Experience relevant to the specialism
  • Safeguarding: Up-to-date level 3 Safeguarding qualification
  • Clinical Governance: Knowledge of managing risk and clinical governance processes
