What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide high-quality, one-to-one care tailored to each child’s needs.
  • Administer IV therapies and specialist treatments in the child’s home.
  • Manage a diverse caseload of patients, treating a variety of conditions from growth hormone deficiencies to autoimmune diseases.
  • Maintain stock, supplies, and equipment while managing your own daily schedule.
  • Accurately document clinical data and report any adverse effects using the correct protocols.
  • Build lasting relationships with children, families, and other healthcare professionals to support ongoing treatment and recovery.
  • Stay current with clinical skills and competencies, ensuring you’re delivering the best possible care.

Requirements of the Paediatric Nurse:

  • Registered Children’s Nurse with NMC registration.
  • Experience in administering IV therapies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to put patients and families at ease while explaining technical details.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage your workload and travel within a regional area.
  • Full UK driving licence (regional travel required).
