Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our client's team at their hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC. This role offers the chance to work within a supportive team environment that thrives on collaboration. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Spinal Surgery, you will utilise your expertise to deliver holistic, evidence-based care throughout the Spinal Surgery pathway. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will also operate autonomously, overseeing the patient journey. You will advocate for patients, offering specialist nursing advice and emotional support throughout their treatment while driving service development and staff education. Strong communication skills are essential for this role. Shift Pattern: 

  • Full time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday

What You’ll Bring:

  • Children’s Nursing Qualification – RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration
  • 5 years post-registration experience in Children’s nursing
  • First degree in nursing or health-related subject
  • Relevant qualification in a specialist area with at least 12 months’ experience
  • Mentorship qualification
  • Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support
  • Experience of audit and research relevant to the specialism
  • Knowledge of safeguarding processes, with up-to-date level 3 Safeguarding qualification
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and managing risk
