Are you an experienced Senior Nurse seeking the next step in your career, or a current Clinical Services Manager searching for a new opportunity? Join our client's friendly team in Reading.

Working 37.5 hours per week, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team providing person-centred care and rehabilitation for male patients over the age of 18 with enduring mental health issues.

As an experienced Manager or existing Clinical Services Manager from the NHS or private sector, you will deliver high-quality clinical management and leadership, acting as a role model to foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. You will promote collaborative working, positive team building, and set priorities, objectives, and goals for your team.

This role is primarily Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend and/or night work required to provide supervision to night staff. The post holder will also participate in the on-call rota for the service.

The Clinical Services Manager role includes:

  • Managing and developing a highly skilled and motivated workforce through recruitment, selection, development, and performance management processes.
  • Ensuring effective and efficient management of staffing, budgets, materials, and equipment.
  • Promoting effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contributing to the development of policies, procedures, processes, and initiatives.
  • Ensuring clinical services comply with statutory regulations and current legislation, meet quality standards, and deliver against key performance indicators.
  • Managing the implementation of clinical interventions and treatments designed to enhance the operation and quality of clinical services, evaluated through clinical governance and audit.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant professional qualification.
  • A recognised post-registration qualification and full membership of NMC.
  • At least 2 years of managerial experience within a care setting.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • A strong desire for change and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
