Main Duties:

  • To provide a high profile, visible clinical leadership to the ward nursing team
  • To promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees, and visitors
  • To ensure that standards of patient care are always maintained within the parameters of operational policies and governing legislation

Requirements of the Ward Manager:

  • A relevant nursing qualification and registration
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
  • Relevant experience in a similar environment
  • Proven track record of leadership skills
