Salary: £45,194 - £49,821 per annum, plus £7,000 welcome bonus
Overview:
Sanctuary Personnel are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated professional to join our client and take responsibility for hospital operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in crisis management, emergency response, and team leadership, with the ability to handle complex challenges effectively.

The Highlands Unit at Ticehurst House is a specialized, nine-bed acute mental health facility offering comprehensive assessment, treatment, and support tailored to adults. The Highlands Unit provides a peaceful and therapeutic environment conducive to recovery. This facility is equipped to assist individuals facing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, stress, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Through a person-centered approach, we prioritize the unique needs and well-being of each individual, fostering a supportive space for healing and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage hospital operations during the night shift.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing and healthcare teams across the hospital.
- Oversee patient care, ensuring safe staffing levels and effective incident management as needed.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Mentor and support staff, facilitating supervisions and post-incident debriefs.
- Review and respond to incoming referrals, supporting wards with admissions.
What They Look For:
- Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid licence.
- Experience in a managerial or leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to patient-centred care, quality, and safety.
- Ability to balance conflicting demands using adaptive thinking and positive problem-solving.
