Are you a dedicated Senior Staff Nurse with a passion for paediatric neurorehabilitation and complex care? Join our client's team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of their inpatient ward. Use your expertise to support and mentor junior nurses, guiding them with your clinical knowledge and stepping up to lead the unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse.

This is a diverse role where you might be implementing and evaluating holistic care plans for children one day and participating in audits or quality improvement projects the next. Each day presents new opportunities to grow and thrive in a supportive environment equipped with the tools you need.

Shift Pattern:

  • Full time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Flexibility required to work long days, nights & weekends

What you’ll bring:

  • NMC Child Registered Nurse (RN Child / RSCN) with immediate paediatric life support
  • Experience in paediatric neurorehabilitation and complex care
  • Experience with tracheostomised patients is desirable
  • Understanding of safeguarding issues
  • Teaching and mentoring experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong clinical governance and audit experience
  • Experience supervising and assessing students, and shift leading is desirable
