The salary for this permanent Paediatric Nurse job is £32,240 - £37,960 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Provide one-on-one, holistic care to children in their homes or schools.
  • Tailor nursing care to meet each child's unique needs, ensuring all professional standards are met and care plans are effectively implemented.
  • Treat a variety of conditions, including administering growth hormone and biologic treatments for juvenile arthritis, Crohn's disease, and psoriasis.
  • Manage your daily workload, including maintaining stock, supplies, and equipment.
  • Accurately document all clinical data to ensure quality care, and report any adverse effects following the proper protocol.
  • Continuously update and demonstrate current knowledge, addressing any gaps in clinical competency.
  • Ensure adherence to all business policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Paediatric Nurse:

  • Registered Children's Nurse (RCN) qualification.
  • Competence in administering IV therapies.
  • Strong communication skills, including active listening and sensitive communication.
  • Experience in teaching and assessing.
  • Ability to put people at ease and explain technical details in an easy-to-understand manner.
