The salary for this permanent Junior Charge Nurse job is £36,392 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Assist in overseeing the clinic's operations.
  • Ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for patients at all interaction points.
  • Implement new processes to enhance quality improvement initiatives throughout the clinic.
  • Facilitate the effective onboarding of new team members in collaboration with the broader team.
  • Build positive relationships with patients and address any complaints that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical, governance, and regulatory systems and policies, including KLoE.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit reports promptly.

Requirements of the Junior Charge Nurse:

  • Registered Nurse with experience in renal care
  • Previous leadership experience in an outpatient hemodialysis setting
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to effectively connect with a diverse team and patients
  • Leadership style that sets a positive example and fosters a value-driven culture, encouraging excellence from all team members
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach to managing changing situations in a clinical environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills to handle various tasks involved in clinic operations
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development, preferably in renal care
