This permanent Deputy Hospital Director position (37.5 hours per week) offers a chance to join our client, an experienced specialist service located in Grimsby.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Deputy Hospital Director, you will bring your previous experience as a Registered Nurse from the NHS and/or private sector to lead, manage, and influence both clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver outstanding healthcare.

In addition to providing on-hand guidance within the apartments, you will deputise for the Hospital Director, attending internal and external meetings with key stakeholders.

The hospital is situated in Grimsby, close to the coastal town of Cleethorpes and commutable from Hull, Lincoln, Scunthorpe, and surrounding areas.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing strong and robust leadership in the hospital environment
  • Overseeing budgets in collaboration with the Hospital Director
  • Promoting and safeguarding the well-being and interests of all service users, employees, and visitors
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements
  • Completing regulatory notifications
  • Handling SUIs and investigations

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

  • Experience as a Registered Nurse with an active NMC Pin
  • Experience working in learning disabilities and autism settings
  • The ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously in a dynamic environment
  • Awareness of the wider healthcare economy and political environment
  • A detailed understanding of statutory regulations
  • The ability to oversee and deliver site projects
