The salary for this permanent Operations Manager job is £45,000 - £47,500 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Manage all facility contracts, including those for medical equipment, administrative supplies, maintenance, housekeeping, and catering, ensuring adherence to work schedules and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Conduct site audits in line with Schoen Clinic’s quality and governance procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to foster a culture of open communication and positive relationships within Schoen Clinic.
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for hospital and corporate operations, and attend relevant meetings.
  • Contribute to quality reports, NHS contractual returns, and regulatory inspections as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and liaise with other organisations as needed.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Hospital Director, in line with the needs of the service.
  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and servicing for assigned sites, escalating issues to the Senior Facilities Manager when necessary.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of patient records and sensitive hospital information

Requirements of the Operations Manager:

  • Hold a relevant qualification in operations, facilities management, or leadership (such as a Degree, HND/HNC, or Diploma) and possess current IOSH Managing Safely certification.
  • Skilled in managing statutory building compliance using a multi-functional CAFM system.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive them towards achieving organisational objectives.
  • Capable of presenting ideas and outcomes effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to upholding company values and achieving goals.
  • Demonstrated leadership in overcoming challenges and ensuring task completion.
  • Experience in managing facilities within a healthcare or hospital setting.
  • Proven line management experience.
  • Experienced in overseeing statutory and regulatory maintenance tasks and schedules.
  • Background in operations/facilities management training or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficient in KPI management, service quality reporting, and data analysis.
