Shift Pattern: Full-time contracts are 38.5 hours per week and cover 7 x 12 hour shifts every two weeks

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking dedicated nurses to join our client's team at their brand-new flagship service in York.

The neurological centre in York is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art independent hospital with 40 beds, offering high-quality neuropsychiatric and neurobehavioral assessment and rehabilitation for individuals following an acquired brain injury. They cater to a range of additional mental health and physical conditions.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

  • Current professional registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (RMNH/ RNLD/ RGN)
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible in approach to work
  • A friendly and approachable manner with good people skills, demonstrating care and empathy
  • Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team

Desirable:

  • Previous acquired brain injury experience
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act & Mental Capacity Act
  • Recognised practice assessor/practice supervisor
  • Understanding of risk assessment and management and its application within practice
  • Good IT and keyboard skills with experience using computerised record systems

Pre-registrant Preceptorship:

Our client proudly offer a preceptorship programme to all newly registered practitioners. This programme welcomes you to the team and service, providing support and guidance as you transition from student to autonomous professional.

Preceptorships last between 6 to 12 months, during which you will be assigned a Nurse who will support, coach, mentor, and guide you through structured meetings and learning opportunities.
