The aim of the facility is to provide a person-centred approach within a therapeutic environment that promotes collaborative care planning to achieve optimal treatment goals. From admission, the goal is to support patients in their recovery and facilitate a safe discharge back into the community.

Patients are typically referred from local NHS trusts, and the facility prides itself on maintaining excellent working relationships with patients, families, and external agencies. This collaborative approach ensures clear communication throughout the care pathway, enhancing recovery and supporting safe discharge. The facility offers a wide range of therapeutic interventions, combining psychiatric and cognitive behavioural approaches with occupational therapy, psychology, and leisure activities.
