We are seeking a proactive and skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic rotational team in Guernsey, UK. What you will do:
- Manage a defined caseload using evidence-based practices to plan, implement, and evaluate client-centred interventions.
- Provide comprehensive assessments and rehabilitation services to clients with varying disabilities.
- Supervise and support the professional development of Occupational Therapy Assistants and students.
- Play an active role in staff education through in-service and multi-disciplinary training programmes.
- Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high standards of care in diverse settings, including clients' homes and community areas.
- Conduct individual assessments to develop and adapt treatment programmes, ensuring safe discharge and community reintegration.
- Communicate complex clinical information effectively with clients, carers, and other professionals.
- Regularly review case progress and adhere to administrative and clinical best practices.
- Participate in service delivery audits and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Occupational Therapy service.

Requirements:
- Hold a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy or be a graduate of a School of Occupational Therapy recognized by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
- HCPC Registration.
- Evidence of postgraduate CPD.
Experience working at Band 5 level or above as an Occupational Therapist in 2-3 different clinical areas/rotations, one of which must have been with Older People or Physical Disabilities.
Knowledgeable in Occupational Therapy models and treatment approaches and able to critically evaluate implementation within clinical area in line with organisational policies and evidence based practice principles.
