Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the needs of individuals and providing personalised occupational therapy interventions.
  • Developing and implementing therapeutic programs to enhance patients’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to support patient rehabilitation and care plans.
  • Providing advice, guidance, and support to individuals and their families regarding coping strategies and adjustments.
  • Documenting and maintaining accurate records of assessments, treatments, and outcomes in line with professional standards.
  • Contributing to the development of care plans and rehabilitation goals in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Delivering training and support to junior staff and colleagues, sharing best practices.
  • Ensuring the safe use and provision of therapy equipment and recommending any necessary adaptations or assistive devices.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Recent UK experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • HCPC registered
