Work in Bermuda - Level 2 Cat Scan Imaging Technician
Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a skilled and dedicated Imaging Technologist to join our client’s esteemed healthcare facility in Bermuda. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team providing top-tier diagnostic imaging services that enhance patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures based on physician orders, generating and evaluating images to support accurate diagnosis and pathology identification.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment and related systems, including laser printers and PACS, while adhering to safety and quality control standards.
- Transport and operate portable imaging equipment across various hospital areas, following strict safety, sterile, and anaesthesia protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements through educational programmes to maintain professional competency.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control protocols to safeguard patients and staff.
- Rotate through imaging modalities such as Radiology, CAT Scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and Bone Density for well-rounded expertise.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging or Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
- Registration or certification in Radiology, CAT Scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and Bone Density.
- Minimum of two (2) years of post-graduate experience (preferred).
- Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council.
- Current ARRT/CAMRT/DCRR or equivalent certification.
- Level 2 certification must include one or more Post Primary Pathways, such as Mammography, CAT Scan, or Bone Densitometry.
