We have a fantastic opportunity for a Band 6 Mammographer to join our team in Reading, earning £26 per hour on an ongoing contract. This role is based within the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust's Radiology Department, specifically in the West Berkshire Breast Screening Unit. As part of this rewarding position, you will participate in both the Breast Screening Imaging and Diagnostic Service for the West Berkshire Breast Screening Service and the Symptomatic Breast Service. Full-time and part-time applications are welcome.

What you will do:
- Perform mammographic procedures to a high standard, ensuring patient comfort and care are prioritised at all times
- Work within the Radiology Department, the Breast Screening Unit, and occasionally on community-based Mobile Screening Units
- Participate in quality assurance programmes and audits to maintain high standards in imaging services
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and service for our patients
- Assist in the provision of both screening and symptomatic mammography services, contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of breast conditions

Requirements:
- BSc Degree in Radiography or equivalent radiographic qualification, DCR®
- Post Graduate Certificate in Mammography or an equivalent recognised qualification
- State Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience working within the NHS, particularly in breast imaging, is desirable
