Job Title: Early Years Quality Improvement Officer
Location: Morden
Type: Permanent
Salary: Negotiable

Are you passionate about early years education and childcare? Sanctuary Personnel are looking for a dedicated Continuous Improvement Officer to join our client's team and play a key role in supporting and enhancing the quality of early years settings and childminders.

Duties:

In this role, you'll work closely with a variety of early years providers, including full day-care centres, pre-schools, nursery classes, maintained nursery schools, childminders, and out-of-school provision. Your mission will be to promote and maintain high standards of care and education, offering expert advice and guidance on the quality of provision and the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You'll also ensure that all settings comply with Ofsted requirements and relevant legislation.

As part of a collaborative team, you will work alongside an Early Years Advisor, serving as a mentor and role model for early years managers, practitioners, and childminders. You'll provide training, advice, support, and challenge to help these professionals continuously improve their practice. Additionally, you'll assist new and existing childminders in developing their businesses to offer funded places, and you'll work with out-of-school providers to raise standards and ensure positive outcomes for children.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the early years sector, ensuring that every child has access to high-quality education and care.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum Level 3 early years/childcare qualification and a thorough understanding of the EYFS, SEND Code of Practice 2015, and related legislation. Experience in supporting early years settings, childminders, and/or out-of-school providers to improve quality is essential, along with a strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, health and safety legislation, and safeguarding procedures. Excellent communication and time management skills, as well as the ability to deliver training, are also crucial.
