This role offers an exceptional learning opportunity within a school committed to helping pupils unlock their full potential.

They believe that school is a place for children to discover and develop hidden talents in a fun and supportive setting.

About Verbal Behaviour:

Verbal Behaviour is an approach that applies behavioural principles to language development, based on methodologies derived from B.F. Skinner's work. It focuses on understanding the reasons behind different types of communication and teaching these skills effectively. This approach isn't limited to vocal communication; it includes sign language, communication books, electronic devices, and more. All teaching is integrated with the multi-agency support provided to each individual.

They Are Looking For:

  • Individuals with excellent communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn and develop skills in Verbal Behaviour.
  • An interest in evidence-based teaching methods, particularly Verbal Behaviour/ABA.
  • Some experience or knowledge of autism and/or severe learning difficulties is desirable but not essential.

What They Offer:

  • A role within a dedicated Verbal Behaviour team.
  • High-quality professional development opportunities.
  • A tailored CPD programme and thorough induction to develop your understanding of Verbal Behaviour methodology.
  • A forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning throughout the school.
  • A supportive and caring working environment with collaborative colleagues.
  • Continuous in-house training, including regular observations with Leadership, the Inclusion team, Speech and Language Therapists, and Occupational Therapists.

If you are keen to develop your expertise in Verbal Behaviour and work within a supportive team that values professional growth and pupil success, we encourage you to apply now through Sanctuary Personnel. Join our client in creating irresistible learning experiences that inspire their pupils to achieve their unique potential.
