The salary for this permanent Chief Cardiac Physiologist job is £47,000 - £52,000 per annum.

Main Duties:
- Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in accordance with the BSE minimum data set and local reporting guidelines.
- Provide expert clinical guidance through our second opinion rota, ensuring adherence to reporting guidelines during clinical peer reviews.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on equipment and take appropriate actions.
- Submit reports and archive study images following contractual requirements and local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Coordinate with hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals.
- Assist with patient bookings and maintain patient information systems.
Requirements of the Chief Cardiac Physiologist:
- Proven experience in performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms to BSE standards
- BSE accreditation (or equivalent)
- Valid full UK driving license
- Comprehensive understanding of the Data Protection Act, Information Governance Statement of Compliance, and Caldicott Principles
- Openness to new thinking and technologies
- Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development
