Registered Nurse – ICU (Acute)

Shift Pattern: Days/Evenings/Nights

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care with precision and safety.
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and decision-making in critical care situations.
- Develop comprehensive, individualized care plans for patients using the nursing process.
- Advocate for patients by facilitating communication among patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Participate in patient care conferences and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
- Utilize hospital resources efficiently and ensure the safe use of equipment and supplies.
- Supervise and support nursing staff as needed and assume leadership roles when required.
- Stay current with professional development and engage in educational programs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Registration: Current registration with the Bermuda Nursing Council.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU setting.
- Certifications: Critical Care Nursing course certification; ACLS, PALS, BLS (AHA certifications required). IV Therapy certification. TNCC certification is a plus.
- Skills: Strong assessment skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage complex patient care.
