Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum

Your Role: As a Registered Nurse - Theatre Practitioner, you’ll be the heart of our operating theatre, driving excellence and innovation. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Prepare and set up the operating theatre and anaesthetic room, ensuring every detail is perfect for each procedure. Keep everything pristine and organised.
  • Manage theatre lists and seamlessly coordinate with surgical teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Lead, support, and inspire junior staff, helping them grow and excel in their roles.
  • Administer and monitor anaesthetic agents with precision, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Dive into a variety of surgical procedures, continually enhancing your skills and staying ahead in the field.
  • Work closely with the surgical team to ensure smooth communication and coordination throughout each procedure.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and operational procedures to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: A qualified Registered Nurse - Theatre Practitioner or with an Anaesthetic Module.
  • Registration: Active NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) or HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration with no restrictions.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in anaesthetics; recovery experience is a bonus.
  • Passion and Drive: A proven track record in a surgical or theatre setting with a strong motivation to excel in a rewarding and challenging environment.
