What you will do:

- Triage referrals, providing urgent responses, offering advice and information, and signposting to appropriate services.
- Manage requests for social care assessments and safeguarding referrals efficiently.
- Lead and participate in multi-agency meetings, contributing to team development and initiatives.
- Utilize your skills as a Best Interest Assessor, AMHP, Practice Educator, or ASYE Assessor.
- Communicate effectively over the phone to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, using your superior time management and prioritisation skills.
- Work within a framework that emphasizes short-term and crisis intervention.
- Provide cover for social care services extending into evenings and weekends.
- Address the unique needs of individuals with learning disabilities or mental health issues, ensuring social inclusion and independence.
- Work in partnership with health professionals and other agencies to support service users and their carers.

Requirements:

- At least 2 years of post-qualifying experience.
- Expertise in managing complex cases, specifically related to learning disabilities and serious mental health conditions.
- A deep understanding of the legislative framework and guidelines for social work practice.
