What you will do:
- Implement and support the delivery of high-standard social work practice within a safeguarding team, ensuring the protection and welfare of children and young people.
- Manage a diverse caseload, assess service needs, and identify effective support and interventions for families.
- Collaborate with families to co-produce plans that meet their specific needs, and regularly review these plans to ensure they are effective.
- Provide expert and effective social work practice for children, young people, and their families experiencing complex situations, managing high levels of risk with increasing decision-making autonomy.
- Offer authoritative support and opinion on decisions regarding complex cases, adapting to situations of increasing complexity, risk, uncertainty, and challenge.
