Job Title: Registered Nurse - Long Term Care Team
Location: Bermuda
Type: Permanent
Salary: £62,000 - £78,000 per annum
We are thrilled to present a unique opportunity for Registered Nurses seeking a change of scenery and a rewarding career on the picturesque island of Bermuda. These opportunities are exclusively for candidates currently based in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, ranging from simple to complex cases
- Perform tasks as outlined in the Medical plan of care
- Utilise the nursing process to develop individualised care plans for patients
- Act as a patient advocate, facilitating communication between patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Initiate and participate in patient care conferences
- Make efficient use of clinical, hospital, and community resources
- Ensure safe and economical use of equipment and supplies
- Provide guidance, instruction, and supervision to other nursing staff as needed
- Assume leadership responsibilities when required
- Take ownership of professional development by participating in continuing education programs, staying updated with professional literature, and engaging with relevant professional organizations
Qualifications & Registration Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a bachelor’s degree or Diploma from an accredited institution
- Current registration as required by the Bermuda Nursing Council (to be completed after a successful interview)
- Minimum two years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current certifications in CPR and I.V administration
- Essential experience in physical assessment
- Demonstrated clinical competencies and knowledge
- Preferred Nursing Certification in Palliative Care and/or Long-Term Care or a commitment to complete the courses within the first year of employment
