Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a Paediatric Site Practitioner (PSP) to join our client's team. 

About Our Client:

Join our client's team at the UK’s only private hospital dedicated to the healthcare needs of women and children, currently rated “Good” by the CQC. Their Paediatric Site Practitioners (PSPs) provide 24/7 cover across their wards, offering crucial support in the assessment and management of acutely unwell and deteriorating paediatric patients, with escalation to HDU/PICU as necessary.

The Role:

As a Paediatric Site Practitioner, you will maintain a visible clinical presence, acting as both a role model and expert practitioner. Your advanced nursing skills will be vital in coordinating resources and working closely with on-site Duty Managers. Key responsibilities include involvement in the PICU step-down process and supporting bed allocation as part of the Clinical Emergency Team. During out-of-hours, you’ll be a crucial part of the Paediatric Hospital at Night Team, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to patients’ needs.

This varied role offers ongoing career development through a structured, competency-based programme supported by the Lead Paediatric Site Practitioner and Head of Clinical Operations.

Shift Pattern: 

  • Full time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Evenings, nights, two weekends per month

What You’ll Bring:

  • NMC RN Child
  • HDU/Critical Care experience
  • Paediatric Physical Assessment Skills
  • Current APLS/EPALS provider
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Evidence of CPD (e.g., Professional Portfolio)
