Overview

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a dedicated Paediatric Site Practitioner (PSP) to join our client, a prestigious private hospital dedicated to the healthcare needs of women and children, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.

Shift Pattern:

  • Full time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Evenings, nights, two weekends per month 9% shift enhancement

Role and Responsibilities

As a Paediatric Site Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide a visible clinical presence around the hospital, acting as a role model and expert practitioner.
  • Use advanced nursing skills to coordinate resources and work closely with on-site Duty Managers.
  • Participate in the PICU step-down process and support bed allocation as a key member of the Clinical Emergency Team.
  • Out of hours, join the Paediatric Hospital at Night Team to ensure timely and appropriate responses to patients’ needs.
  • This varied role offers opportunities for ongoing development, including a structured, competency-based development programme supported by the Lead Paediatric Site Practitioner and Head of Clinical Operations.

What You’ll Bring

  • NMC RN Child qualification
  • Experience in HDU/Critical Care
  • Paediatric Physical Assessment Skills
  • Current APLS/EPALS provider certification
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD), such as a Professional Portfolio
