Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Occupational Hygiene monitoring and surveys on personnel and site operations concerning a broad range of chemical, physical, and biological agents.
- Participate in targeted occupational hygiene-related investigations and studies.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to evaluate occupational hygiene factors and identify potential hazards.
- Assist in the creation and delivery of training and information materials on occupational hygiene topics.
- Contribute to the preparation of occupational hygiene performance reports to drive continuous improvement across the site.
Skills and Experience:
- Affiliate membership of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene and progress towards the Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene (training will be provided).
- A STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) is advantageous but not essential.
- Ideally, three years of experience in industrial and/or construction environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in IT, including competency with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
