Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Occupational Hygiene monitoring and surveys on personnel and site operations concerning a broad range of chemical, physical, and biological agents.
  • Participate in targeted occupational hygiene-related investigations and studies.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to evaluate occupational hygiene factors and identify potential hazards.
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of training and information materials on occupational hygiene topics.
  • Contribute to the preparation of occupational hygiene performance reports to drive continuous improvement across the site.

Skills and Experience:

  • Affiliate membership of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene and progress towards the Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene (training will be provided).
  • A STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ideally, three years of experience in industrial and/or construction environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in IT, including competency with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
