The salary for this permanent Clinical Specialist Radiographerjob is up to £54,500 per annum.

Main Duties:
- Support the MRI Superintendent in ensuring the smooth operation of the MRI service, maintaining high standards consistently.
- Adhere strictly to MRI safety protocols within the MRI suite as outlined in the Local Rules.
- Independently perform complex examinations, including cardiac MRI such as stress perfusions and basic scans.
- Collaborate closely with Radiologists and Consultants to establish policies and protocols for imaging and patient pathways.
- Continuously identify areas for improvement and oversee the implementation of agreed-upon enhancements in coordination with the line manager.
- Contribute to the daily management of the imaging service to ensure efficient operations.
- Assist in patient bookings and handle administrative duties as required, ensuring timely delivery of verified radiologist reports.
- Support staff orientation and participate in training initiatives as needed.
Requirements of the Clinical Specialist Radiographer:
- Registered with HCPC.
- Substantial post-graduate MRI experience, ideally within the UK.
- Profound understanding of clinical governance and MRI protocols.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiac MRI.
