The salary for this permanent Clinical Specialist Radiographer job is £54,500 per annum.

Main Duties:
- Deliver high-quality MRI services, adhering to professional standards to ensure exceptional care for all patients.
- Collaborate with Radiologists and Consultants to develop and implement policies and protocols for MRI imaging and patient management pathways.
- Tailor and optimise imaging sequences based on specific scan requirements, working closely with radiologists to achieve the best possible imaging results.
- Continuously identify and suggest areas for improvement, overseeing the implementation of approved enhancements in coordination with the line manager.
- Support patient scheduling and administrative tasks as needed, ensuring timely delivery of verified radiologist reports.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members, and participate in audits and quality assurance processes.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan protocols, and equipment maintenance logs.
Requirements of the Clinical Specialist Radiographer:
- HCPC registration required
- Degree in Radiography
- Significant experience in MRI, ideally at a Band 6 or Band 7 level (or equivalent)
- Comprehensive understanding of MRI scanning processes and procedures
- Expertise in MRI safety, particularly regarding patients with implants
- Experience with Siemens MRI scanners
