About the Role
You will provide senior leadership, deputise for the Ward Manager, and ensure high-quality care delivery. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and managing care plans for complex needs.
- Leading risk assessments and emergency interventions.
- Supervising staff and supporting team operations.
- Encouraging service user involvement in care decisions.
- Acting as a mentor to junior staff and students.
What You’ll Need
Essential:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC PIN).
- Experience at Band 6 level, with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (Diploma Level).
- IT proficiency and flexibility to work within a 24-hour service.
Desirable:
- Teaching/mentorship qualification or relevant diploma.
- Full UK driver’s license.
