Job Title: Theatre Practitioner

Salary: £37,735 - £50,078 per annum
Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a Theatre Practitioner to join a prestigious healthcare facility in leafy St John’s Wood, located conveniently on the Jubilee line just minutes from Central London. Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialist care to patients during the perioperative period.
Assist in the day-to-day management of theatres.
Act as a mentor to unqualified support staff and pre-registration students.
Participate in the planning and delivery of care throughout the perioperative period.
Ensure all anaesthetic equipment is checked and available prior to the start of each procedure.
Participate in team briefings before each session.
Recognise and provide support for the workload of colleagues.
Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
Maintain a professional portfolio and demonstrate critical analytical skills.
Organise and plan own work as well as that of others.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth patient pathway.
Handle conflicts with awareness and professionalism.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Registered Nurse with recognised post-graduate qualification or Registered ODP with Cert HE/Diploma.
Significant post-registration experience in the anaesthetic area.
Ability to act as a preceptor to newly qualified staff.
Proficient in monitoring and caring for sedated patients during procedures.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
Knowledge of patient confidentiality and ability to produce legible notes.
