The Role:
You will work as part of a skilled theatre team, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and individualised patient care. Your responsibilities include maintaining clinical standards across scrub, anaesthetics, and recovery stages, adhering to policies to ensure the best outcomes, and supporting the team in providing excellent patient-focused service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in scrub, anaesthetics, and recovery for various surgical procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the theatre process
- Maintain high standards of clinical practice and hygiene
- Communicate effectively with patients, team members, and other departments
- Monitor patient progress during and after procedures
- Support the training and development of junior staff
- Follow all hospital policies and procedures
What You Will Bring:
- Registered with the NMC/HCPC
- Experience in scrub, anaesthetics, and recovery (minimum 2 specialisms)
- Passionate about patient care
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Effective communicator
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
