The salary for this permanent Support Worker job is £23,712 - £26,028 per annum.

Your Day-to-Day as a Support Worker:
- Guiding Clients: Offer advice, information, and emotional support to clients, helping them maintain an abstinent lifestyle and access aftercare services.
- Recovery Planning: Work closely with clients to create realistic and personalised recovery plans to address their unique needs.
- Medication Support: Assist with medication management, conducting timely audits, and maintaining accurate medication records.
- Life Skills & Practical Help: Support clients with daily living skills, benefits applications, and housing, helping them reintegrate into everyday life.
- Appointments & Advocacy: Ensure clients attend important appointments, either by arranging transport or accompanying them.
- Assessment & Discharge: Assist with intake assessments and discharge planning, ensuring each client’s journey is smooth and well-documented.
- Risk Management: Collaborate with the therapeutic team to ensure comprehensive risk management plans are in place and up to date.
What We’re Looking For:
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Competence with Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Confidence in lone working and maintaining professional boundaries.
- A calm, caring, and non-judgemental approach – especially in pressurised situations.
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
