Main Duties:
- To deliver outreach and in-reach support to people who sleep rough in London, improving their readiness to access drug and alcohol treatment.
- To manage a caseload, providing skilled and focused interventions that are time-limited and do not duplicate existing work.
- To work effectively and in partnership with stakeholders across London, including community treatment agencies, hostel, day centre, and outreach teams, community and faith groups, and inpatient detox and rehab providers.
- To participate in a psychologically and trauma informed approach to service delivery.
- To work flexibly, including occasional early morning, evening, or weekend working
Requirements for the role of Senior Recovery Practitioner:
- Recent experience in Substance Misuse, Substance Abuse, Addiction, Drug and Alcohol, Needle Exchange, or Recovery.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications.
