The salary for this permanent Recovery Navigator job is £25,154 - £30,742 per annum, hybrid working is available.
Locations: (You will cover one of the following clusters)
- Newham/Redbridge
- Waltham Forest/Barking, Dagenham and Havering
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry a diverse caseload of adult male prison leavers and individuals on community orders.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the needs of each client and develop a collaborative, personalised action plan.
- Deliver structured one-to-one support, group work, and virtual sessions that help individuals build resilience and progress in their recovery.
- Provide continuity of care, offering consistent support and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Signpost clients to additional services and resources, ensuring they have access to the appropriate support systems.
- Work closely with probation officers, other support services, and stakeholders to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all interventions, ensuring compliance with organisational standards.
- Be multi-skilled and adaptable, trained to provide interventions at all levels of complexity.
- Collaborate with colleagues across London to provide flexible support in response to changing demands.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in working with individuals in recovery, ideally within probation, criminal justice, or related fields.
- Strong assessment skills, with the ability to identify clients' needs and develop action plans that promote recovery.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, enabling you to build trust and motivate clients.
- Confidence in delivering one-to-one and group sessions, both in person and virtually.
- The ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Flexibility and resilience, with a willingness to work across London as needed.
- A commitment to maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.
