The salary for this permanent Recovery Navigator job is £25,154 - £30,742 per annum, hybrid working is available.

Locations: (You will cover one of the following clusters)

  • Newham/Redbridge
  • Waltham Forest/Barking, Dagenham and Havering

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry a diverse caseload of adult male prison leavers and individuals on community orders.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the needs of each client and develop a collaborative, personalised action plan.
  • Deliver structured one-to-one support, group work, and virtual sessions that help individuals build resilience and progress in their recovery.
  • Provide continuity of care, offering consistent support and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Signpost clients to additional services and resources, ensuring they have access to the appropriate support systems.
  • Work closely with probation officers, other support services, and stakeholders to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of all interventions, ensuring compliance with organisational standards.
  • Be multi-skilled and adaptable, trained to provide interventions at all levels of complexity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across London to provide flexible support in response to changing demands.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in working with individuals in recovery, ideally within probation, criminal justice, or related fields.
  • Strong assessment skills, with the ability to identify clients' needs and develop action plans that promote recovery.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, enabling you to build trust and motivate clients.
  • Confidence in delivering one-to-one and group sessions, both in person and virtually.
  • The ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility and resilience, with a willingness to work across London as needed.
  • A commitment to maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.
