We are seeking an inspiring and proactive Sister/Charge Nurse to join our outstanding Haematology/Oncology team in London. As a Sister/Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in guiding a skilled team of SACT nurses and Healthcare Assistants, ensuring each patient receives personalised and holistic care. The position is full-time, with 37.5 hours per week of engaging work.

What you will do:


- Lead and manage the nursing team to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Coordinate and oversee patient assessments and treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team.
- Maintain and enhance the competency of staff through mentoring and development programs.
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and maintain a safe, effective, and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive cancer care.
- Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
- Manage resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation to meet patient needs.

What you’ll bring:


- Current NMC Nurse registration.
- Extensive experience in the Cancer/Oncology specialty with SACT competency.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Previous management experience or training in a leadership role.
